The blogging, I mean. Not the trip.
So now, I'm on the flight back home, sardined between Stinky and Gassy, I can write up this draft that will automatically be published when I land. At least, that's what I'm hoping. :)
I had a really great trip to Ontario. 10 days was a bit long and I am beyond tired, but all well worth it. I didn't really advertise that I was coming to Ontario this time and I'm really glad I didn't. It really allowed me to plan out my visit as I damn well pleased and no one had a say in where I went and for how long.
On the day after my arrival, I rented a car and drove to Trenton to see Maggie and the family. It was a great visit and I was so greatful for some quality time with her as well as some baby snuggles from my favorite baby ever.
I drove back on the Monday and spent some time catching up with friends and enjoying the city with some light shopping and delicious food.
I drove back to my home town where I didn't really have an itinerary but I was able to visit everyone who needed visiting.
Because no one knew really what I was up to, if I didn't feel like doing something - I didn't. If I felt like doing something - I did it. It was great and felt a whole lot more like a vacation that previous trips back home.
I spent my birthday with my dad which was really nice and relaxing and had dinner with some family.
I had lunch with my grand-pa and made my dad a stew. All good!
I went shopping with my aunt all day saturday and totally spoiled myself. We eventually got kicked out of the shopping center. We hadn't done that since I've moved to Saskatchewan. I guess because we didn't have dinner plans with anyone, there was no need to look at our watches. It was a great day bonding with her but my bank account disagrees. :)
Ever notice how people look out the window when they announce some turbulence? What do they expect to see exactly?
Anyways, my fingers are getting crampy and my peanut M&Ms are screaming my name.
Toodles!
