However you try to prepare for this kind of thing, you're never quite ready. It's not until it's right there in your face and you can't deny it anymore without claiming insanity that you have to really let it sink in and accept the facts.

Oh boy, you have my sympathy ... this happened to me about a month ago. How do you deny a friend request from your mom?? But now I have to think hard about all my status updates. I truly feel your pain.

The blog is still safely tucked away in a deep corner of cyberspace, away from my Mom, as far as I know...
I am now sifting through years of content... *le sigh*
My Dad just joined FB when we moved cross country.. he is constantly asking me how to do things on it ( and I help him *sigh*) and I don't even have FB!! ( My oldest does ;-)
