Ever wonder how many stupid things we do when no one is watching?! I just caught myself sniffing at my cat's ass : holding him down with one hand, pulling his tail up with the other before I go nose first for what seems to be the teeny hole that is filling this room with reek.
Just sniffing above the general area of his butt won't do, but it's clearly what I would have done if anyone else had been here to see me.

Haha! It's not like I make plans to sniff my cat's ass when I wake up in the morning... I did it because it needed to be done. Spur of the moment... of sorts! ;)
I would love to learn your definition of "needed" from it's use in your reply "it needed to be done".. Seriously, how can sniffing you cat's butt "need" to be done? :S It must be the prairies... :P
Haha! Well there was a funky smell and I wasn't quite sure exactly... ahem... which end it was coming from. The wiser choice would have been to start with the opposite side of him... Live and learn! ;)
